2005 Guinea Demographic and Health Survey

The 2005 EDSG-III data show more and more women in Guinea know of at
least one modern contraceptive method (92 percent in 2005 compared to
71 percent in 1999).  In spite of this, very few women use
contraception.  The rate of use for any modern method is 6 percent in
2005, compared to 4 percent in 1999 and 1 percent in 1992.
