The second edition of this guide is designed for reproductive health professionals involved in large-scale reproductive health programs that use MVA instruments. This guide should be used with other Ipas technical resources to implement service-delivery programs, train clinicians, develop service-delivery policies and guidelines, and monitor services. Rather than providing a one-size-fits-all methodology for every situation, this guide is designed to: aid development of sustainable MVA supplies for programs scaling up their reproductive health services, identify important system features, provide clarity on relevant inputs and use case studies to illustrate approaches to achieving sustainable MVA supplies.
