This report assesses abortion service utilization and quality in public-sector hospitals and health centers, in support of the government’s efforts to promote equitable access to safe abortion for Cambodian women. The study identifies strengths and weaknesses in the current system and provides evidence for the design of appropriate interventions and scale-up strategies to help address the causes of maternal mortality and morbidity. The report also addresses gaps in service availability and accessibility for rural and underserved women.
