The Society for Family Health (SFH), PSI's affiliate in Nigeria, has become the first Nigerian NGO to be certified to receive direct U.S. government funding. Since 1985 PSI has worked with SFH to build its capacity, resulting in impressive health impact and preventing more HIV infections than any PSI program in 2004.
