Disease Control Priorities Project (DCPP)

The Disease Control Priorities Project's (DCPP) objective is to improve the health of people in developing countries by fostering an environment that supports evidence-based decisionmaking in global health. The distinctive contribution of DCPP is to combine analysis based principally on economics and epidemiology, resulting in evidence-based policies, priorities, resource allocations, and intervention choices.

DCPP Partners:
Fogarty International Center of the United States Institutes of Health
The World Bank
World Health Organization
Population Reference Bureau

DCPP is supported by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is dedicated to improving people's lives by sharing advances in health and learning with the global community.
