The Population Research Centre (PRC), Patna conducts basic and operations research on population topics such as health, family planning and maternal and child health care, as well as methodological and theoretical research in demography and statistics. PRC Patna is also active in survey research, questionnaire preparation, training, data processing, data analysis and report writing.
Other activities include training of trainers/professionals, programme/project monitoring and evaluation and dissemination of research findings through conferences and seminars. It is also involved in awareness raising of RTI, STI and HIV/AIDS. PRC Patna also engages in capacity building and management work and provides technical support to NGOs.
