Youth Peer Education Electronic Resource (Y-PEER) is a network of organizations supporting youth peer education and participation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It has trained youth peer educators in 27 countries in this region in peer education methodologies and using electronic means to reach more youth; it shares information on peer education through its Web site (www.youthpeer.org), including standards, national training curricula, and information on specific countries.

Y-PEER helps coordinate nongovernmental organizations (NGOS) working in Eastern Europe and Central Asia through listservs, trainings, and collaborative meetings. The network operates virtually, with backup support from UNFPA and UNICEF.
