Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Centre
The Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Center (ARSRC) Initiative is a component of the Ford Foundation’s worldwide initiative – “Global Dialogue on Sexual Health and Well-Being," which seeks to promote more informed public dialogue on human sexuality and contribute to positive changes in relevant policies and programmes around the world. The Nigeria-based Africa Center is hosted and facilitated by Action Health Incorporated (AHI), a pioneering, non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the well-being of Nigerian adolescents.
A key function of the center is to promote information exchange, public education, training and leadership development in the field of Sexuality on the African continent, build a strong and viable network of professionals, advocates and organizations driving positive change and development in policy and research; and ground-breaking dialogue on the new emerging but critical area of sexuality on the continent of Africa.
